Speaker Information

All session rooms in the San Diego Convention Center will be equipped with a PC computer and LCD projector networked to a server in the Speaker Ready Room. The computer have the latest edition of Microsoft's PowerPoint™ presentation software as well as Adobe Acrobat© Reader to display PDF files. For those who use a MAC and not a PC, the audiovisual company also will have MAC computers available.

Further information will be posted to this site approximately two months prior to the meeting detailing more information.

Poster Information

Call4Posters^®

Call4Posters^® is a service which allows authors whose abstracts are accepted for poster presentation to create and format their posters online or upload an already-created poster in PDF or PowerPoint format. ASM has contracted Marathon Multimedia to provide this for-fee service in which posters are printed and shipped directly to the annual meeting for on-site pickup, or to the author's address (if preferred).

Poster Size

The maximum size of posters is 40 inches (1.0 meter) tall and 88 inches (2.2 meters) wide. Posters smaller than the maximum size are acceptable.

Information concerning poster locations will be available when Abstract Notifications are released.

Poster Scheduling

Poster sessions are scheduled in the Poster Hall located in the Exhibits Hall Monday-Wednesday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. On Thursday, the session is scheduled from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. Presenters are required to be at their posters at their assigned time (either from 10:45 am - 12:15 pm or 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm) to answer any questions about their work.

All Poster Presenters are expected to place their posters on their assigned boards before 9:00 am on the assigned date. Posters will remain on the poster boards until 4:00 pm daily (noon on Thursday). There will be a special entrance to the Poster Hall to allow presenters access to their posters after the completion of the day.
