Call for Abstracts - Corrections and Withdrawals
Corrections to Abstracts
If a correction is needed, DO NOT RESUBMIT YOUR ABSTRACT. Doing so will cause a duplicate entry in the database. Instead follow the following procedure:
- Go back to the Abstract Submission Web Site and log in as a "returning user."
- Locate your abstract under the General Meeting Header and click on the title. Select abstract text and click on the highlighted area. You will be able to make direct edits from this point. Do not forget to submit your changes so the system updates.
- All corrections must be received by January 16, 2008.
Withdrawal of Abstracts
If an abstract is withdrawn from consideration, the author must send a letter of explanation to ASM headquarters prior to February 20, 2008. Withdrawals made after February 20, 2008 may be subject to the 3-year non-presentation penalty.
